Angela Balzano

Angela Balzano is an eco/cyberfeminist researcher. She believes that social, biological and technological reproduction are connected to each other through complex systems which need to be interpreted. As an expert in Spinoza, she investigates the biopolitical arena and advocates for multispecies reproductive justice. She curated the Italian translations of several essays by philosophers such as Rosi Braidotti, Cooper and Waldby, and Donna Haraway. She is the author of Sessualità e riproduzione (Sexuality and Reproduction, 2015), which she co-wrote with Clarlo Flamilgni. She teaches a Master Course module on Science at Università Roma Tre. Her first book, to be published in 2021, will be titled: Per la fine della famiglia. Dall’aborto alle parentela postumane ("Towards the end of family: from abortion to posthuman relationships").
