Vittorio Giacobini works as a journalist and editor for the magazine by Goffredo Fofi "Lo straniero", where he writes politics articles. Together with Goffredo Fofi he edited Prima e dopo il '68, an anthology of Quaderni Piacentini. His political competence goes hand in hand with his civil commitment in his literary work such as Scrittori contro la politica (1999), Viaggiatori senza biglietto (2000) e Una guerra di carta. Il Kosovo e gli intellettuali (2000), Re in fuga. La leggenda di Bobby Fischer (2008).
