Dopo la morte del padre, il protagonista di Shanghai Chagrin parte per Shanghai. Il suo viaggio in una città straniera e sconosciuta, frutto di una decisione impulsiva, diventa una discesa nel lutto e nella ricerca della sua accettazione. Léopold Prudon racconta il suo fumetto d’esordio, ancora inedito in Italia.

Invisible lines: drawing bodies

To draw a body is never a neutral act: from the physicality of drawing to his symbolic meaning, telling in comics always means talking about the body, modeling it, transforming it, playing with its visible and invisible dimension. The boys and girls of Invisible Lines discuss it with the comic artist Rikke Villadsen, who has made of the representation of the body the figure of her art.

The meeting is also an opportunity to present the first membership campaign of MeFu and talking about association’s plans and goals for the future.

Le città hanno gli occhi is a project born in 2016 by the collective Lele Marojanni: a spatial mapping of the people and encounters in Bologna that have marked the comics evolution in the city, through video projections that mix cinema and comics. This year, Le città hanno gli occhi adds a piece to the composition and investigates, through the authors voices, the relation between Bologna and comics.

Quasi tutti fuoriusciti dalla prestigiosa scuola francese Les Gobelins, oggi lavorano come animatori per alcune tra le piú importanti agenzie internazionali. Le loro animazioni, come i fumetti, narrano storie ai confini della realtá, con poche parole e grande potenza visiva.

A comparison between two different ways of drawing the body, through the comics, to find a space of freedom in a suffocating reality.
