Clara Chotil
Franco-Brazilian, Clara Chotil is an architect and visual artist, graduated from ENSA Paris Malaquais. She co-founded the Dynamorphe collective with Félix Chameroy in which she developed light and airborne architectures. This practice leads her, among other things, to scenography. She develops projection and live drawing devices, in particular with the company F71, acting in Noire and Songbook (Dir. Lucie Nicolas). These creations push her towards the question of narrative drawing. A first comic book project is formulated in connection with the show Le Dernier Voyage by the collective F71. She focuses then on comics and graduates at the EESI Angoulême, questioning the stakes of comic biographies. She is currently working at the book Ópera Negra, retracing the life of Brazilian singer Maria d'Apparecida. The book is scheduled to be released by Actes Sud l'An 2 in the fall of 2022.
